As one of Malaysia’s leading IT retail chains, ALL IT Hypermarket recognises the growing environmental challenges posed by electronic waste (e-waste). With technology evolving rapidly, many devices are frequently replaced, leading to a significant increase in discarded electronics.
To address this issue, ALL IT Hypermarket launched Tech The Emission Down 2025, a sustainability initiative aimed at encouraging responsible disposal of electronic devices while raising public awareness about the environmental impact of e-waste.
Through this initiative, we invite the community to participate in responsible recycling practices, support environmental conservation, and collectively reduce the amount of electronic waste entering landfills. By working together with our partners and customers, we hope to foster a more sustainable future for the technology industry and beyond.

ALL IT Hypermarket provides convenient e-waste collection points for commonly used electronic items that are easy to transport and recycle responsibly.
Customers are encouraged to bring their unwanted or non-functional devices, including consumer electronics, computer accessories and small electronic gadgets, to all ALL IT Hypermarket outlets nationwide, as well as to the 1Recycling Centre (1RC) located at 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
All collected items will be channelled to authorised recycling partners to ensure they are processed in an environmentally responsible manner. By recycling these devices instead of discarding them, we can help reduce harmful waste, recover valuable materials, and minimise the environmental impact of electronic consumption.
Strategic Partnerships for a Greener Future
In August 2025, ALL IT Hypermarket held an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with our strategic partners, including Alliance Bank, Atome and 1 Utama Shopping Centre, to formalise the collaboration behind the Tech The Emission Down 2025 initiative.
While the campaign had already begun earlier in the year, the ceremony symbolised a shared commitment among partners to support sustainability efforts, promote responsible technology consumption and raise greater awareness about the importance of proper electronic waste management in Malaysia.
Through this partnership, ALL IT Hypermarket and its collaborators aim to drive stronger public engagement in e-waste recycling while championing environmentally responsible practices within the technology industry.
